We’re keeping the same open mic infrastructure AND adding a theatrical twist since we are at the Madison Tavern in the Overton Square Theatre District.

• Open Mic: A safe space for 10-12 writers, poets, and spoken word artists to share their truth. From first-timers to seasoned performers, this is where words come alive.

• Poetry Slam 8 talented poets/spoken word artists and slam afcianados will take the stage in a tournament-style poetry slam for a winner takes all CASH prize.
